Getting old

I had cataract surgery and now do not need glasses.  The lack of frames has caused me to notice the age lines and liver spots on my face, that I had not noticed before.  There comes a time in life when you look old no matter what you do.  I think of people that get face lifts, hair transplants and dye jobs and realize that they look old anyway.  They are merely deluding themselves.

You can dye your hair
or let it go gray,
You can shave your head
or wear a toupee,
You can comb it back
or gel it up bold,
But you can't stop the fact
that you're getting old.
